Exective producer and actor, George Clooney, plays Lyn Cassady, a main character in the film, who claims to have psychic powers and was once part of a select Army team called the Jedi. The Jedi use their powers against enemies in war.
Ewan McGregor, who plays Bob Wilton, a reporter who wants to report on the war in Iraq, runs into Lyn Cassady and they begin their exciting journey together. They go through many comical and exciting experiences while on their adventure to Iraq.
The film was definately worth seeing and if you enjoy good humor and George Clooney, then I definately recommend that you add seeing this film to your to-do list.

I love the picture you chose. Sadly I didn’t enjoy the movie as much as you did. I laughed a little bit but not as much as I thought I was going to. I’m not sure what other comedy’s you like but if you are a fan of the ones that don’t really have a point I would recommend you see “Year One” if you haven’t already. That was a movie I laughed throughout.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had posted a picture, too! Great idea. I thought the movie was very funny as well. I especially loved seeing George Clooney dancing. That really tickled my funny bone!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree--great picture! I thought the movie was funny in some parts, but they lost me halfway through. The idea is fun, but some of the humor just wasn't what I like.
ReplyDeleteNice review. It's short and to the point, which is a nice comparison to the many lengthy reviews out there that are stuffed with too many details. The movie looked good from the trailer. It's too bad that most of the class didn't like it. Maybe it's a good thing that I couldn't go after all. :)
ReplyDeleteNice picture- George Clooney is ALWAYS nice to look at! I agreed with you, i thought the movie was definitly worth seeing (but then again, isnt anything with George Clooney in it?) :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough i do not have the hots for George Clooney, i think the picture is hilarious. Nice review, even though i went the total opposite direction and thought it didn't meet expectations!
ReplyDeleteI don't have the hots for George Clooney, either, but the picture is pretty fantastic. I thought the movie was decent, but not as good as I had expected. Maybe I'm just really picky like that, but I wanted more laughs. Stupid trailers!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Evan and Ryan on this one, and anyone else who thought the film was a failure! :) I am still, to this day, trying to figure out what exactly they were thinking when they decided to make this movie! Your review expressed your take on the movie perfectly, though! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't agree. I liked it but I really felt like I missed something. I feel like this might be one of those movies where the book is MUCH better.
